The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  South central Bowman County in southwestern North Dakota...

* Until 645 PM MDT.

* At 620 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado was located near Mud Buttes, or 17 miles southwest of 
  Bowman, moving northeast at 5 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...The public reported a funnel cloud along highway 85 near 
           the North Dakota South Dakota border.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  south central Bowman County.

CENTRAL BOWMAN COUNTY...
    
At 637 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 5 miles northeast of Mud Buttes, or 15 miles southwest of
Bowman, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
