The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Grant County in southwestern Wisconsin...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 510 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported water over several 
  roads in the warned area, including Highway 81 between Cassville 
  and Beetown and County Highway E between Stitzer and Livingston. 
  Three inches or more of rain has already fallen in some locations. 
  Flash flooding is already occurring.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lancaster, Fennimore, Dickeyville, Cassville, Preston, Georgetown, 
  Beetown, Arthur, Montfort, Potosi, Livingston, Ellenboro, Glen 
  Haven, Bagley and Tennyson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CDT FOR
GRANT COUNTY...

As of 721 PM CDT, three or more inches of rain had fallen in some 
locations and several roads were being reported as under water or 
closed. We have also received reports of debris on some roadways. 
Flash flooding is already occurring.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...  
Lancaster, Fennimore, Dickeyville, Cassville, Preston, Georgetown, 
Beetown, Arthur, Montfort, Potosi, Livingston, Ellenboro, Glen 
Haven, Bagley and Tennyson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
