The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Columbia County in east central New York...

* Until 800 PM EDT.

* At 506 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Chatham, New Lebanon, Valatie, Kinderhook, Lorenz Park, Ghent,
  Stockport, Stuyvesant, Canaan, Stuyvesant Falls, Chatham Center,
  Columbiaville, Rossman, Rayville, Red Rock, Stockport Station,
  Arnolds Mill, Sunnyside, New Britain and Rock City.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the 
warned area.
