The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect until 9 PM PST this evening. 

* TIMING...Winds will continue to increase this morning, peak
  during the afternoon then decrease this evening.

* WIND...Southwest 20-30 MPH with gusts 35-50 MPH, strongest just
  downwind of mountain ranges such as the western Las Vegas
  Valley. Winds will turn to the north this afternoon with similar
  speeds behind a cold front.

* TEMPERATURE...Low temperatures Monday night of 28 to 32 degrees
  in northeast Clark County and around the edges of the Las Vegas
  Valley. If the wind blows all night Monday night, the freezing 
  temperatures may hold off until Tuesday night and Wednesday 
  morning. 

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds can create hazardous driving conditions
  due to crosswinds and blowing dust. Loose objects and temporary
  structures may be displaced. The first freeze of the season will
  end the growing season and kill sensitive plants left outdoors.
  Pets may also suffer from hypothermia.
