  last into the overnight hours Monday night.

* WINDS...West to southwest 25 to 30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH
  through this evening. Wind Monday evening is expected to be 35
  to 45 MPH gusting over 60 MPH at times.

* TIMING...Strong winds are expected to increase this afternoon 
and continue through tonight. 

* WINDS...West to northwest 30 to 40 MPH with gusts over 60 MPH 
  at times. 

* IMPACTS...Dangerous driving conditions due to strong crosswinds
  and rapidly reduced visibility due to blowing dust and sand.
  High winds can topple trees... down power lines...remove
  shingles and damage weakened buildings and roofs. Take necessary
  precautions to secure temporary structures and lightweight objects.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect until 5 AM PDT Tuesday. The High 
Wind Warning has been cancelled. 

* TIMING...Strong winds will persist through late evening across
  the Western Mojave Desert and Morongo Basin of San Bernardino
  County then gradually decrease very early Tuesday morning.

* WINDS...West to northwest 25 to 35 MPH with gusts 40 to 50 MPH.

* IMPACTS...Strong crosswinds will make travel difficult on
  sections of I-15, I-40 and State Route 62 in San Bernardino
  County, especially for high profile vehicles. Blowing dust and sand
  may reduce visibility at times. Unsecured objects could be 
  blown around.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has cancelled the Wind
Advisory for southern Clark County, the Colorado River Valley and
Mohave County. Wind gusts decreased to between 15 and 25 mph this
