South central Mohave County in northwestern Arizona...
* Until 930 PM MST
* At 630 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain south of Yucca. Flash flooding is expected to begin
shortly.
* Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of south central
Mohave County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

SOUTH CENTRAL MOHAVE COUNTY...
At 725 PM MST, the public reported flash flooding from thunderstorms
south of Yucca. It was reported than a estimated nearly 2 inches of
rain had fallen and flash flooding will likely continue. Areas of
moderate to heavy rain in still falling in the warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
