Southwestern Mohave County in northwestern Arizona...
* Until 1145 PM MST
* At 841 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the Kingman area and the
Hualapai Mountains. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kingman, Wild Cow Campground, Dw Ranch Road, New Kingman-Butler,
Blake Ranch Road, Hualapai Mountain Park, Golden Valley and
Hualapai Peak.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM MST FOR
SOUTH CENTRAL MOHAVE COUNTY...
At 945 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms were moving to
the southwest and out of the warning area. Rain gauge reports
indicated between one-half and three-quarters of an inch of rain
fell in less than 30 minutes on the east and southeast outskirts of
Kingman and over the Hualapai Mountains.
Some locations that will likely experience flooding include...
Dw Ranch Road, New Kingman-Butler, Blake Ranch Road, Hualapai
Mountain Park.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. Turn around don't drown.
