Northwestern Inyo County in south central California... * Until 845 PM PDT * At 542 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain on Racetrack Road near Teakettle Junction. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. * Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Inyo County and Death Valley National Park. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, rural roads, and other low lying spots.
