North central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
Southwestern Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 915 PM MST
* At 617 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain from west of Arizona City, south through Santa Rosa.
These thunderstorms have shown little movement. Radar rainfall
estimates from this area were between 1.0 and 2.0 inches of
rainfall in the last hour. Flash flooding is expected to begin
shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Santa Rosa, Anegam, North Komelik, White Horse Pass, Chuichu,
Kohatk, Jackrabbit, Ak Chin, Cocklebur and Covered Wells.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM MST FOR
NORTH CENTRAL PIMA AND SOUTHWESTERN PINAL COUNTIES...
At 707 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms continuing to
produce very heavy rainfall from the Santa Rosa area, northward to
Chuichu. Radar rainfall estimates show a large area of between 1.0
and 2.0 inches in the last hour, with pockets of between 2.0 and 3.5
inches of rainfall. Flash flooding is likely occurring in the
warning area.
Normally dry washes and low water crossings may be inundated in the
following locations...
Santa Rosa, Anegam, North Komelik, White Horse Pass, Chuichu, Kohatk,
Jackrabbit, Ak Chin, Cocklebur and Covered Wells.
