The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 9 AM this morning to 3 PM CDT this afternoon. * TIMING...The strongest wind gusts are expected mid to late morning through early afternoon. * WINDS...Southerly winds sustained at 25 to 30 mph with gusts upwards of 40 to 45 mph likely. * IMPACTS...Travel along east west roadways may become difficult, particularly for light and high profile vehicles. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or gusts to 45 mph are expected.
