The National Weather Service in Great Falls has cancelled the
High Wind Watch.

A period of strong winds are expected late Wednesday morning
through Wednesday afternoon...but widespread wind speeds in excess
of 55 mph are not expected at this time.

...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a High
Wind Warning, which is in effect until 5 PM MST this afternoon.
the High Wind Watch is no longer in effect.

* Winds: West 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.

* Timing: Strong winds developing along the Rocky Mountain front
  will expand east into adjacent portions of Glacier, Toole and
  Pondera counties by early Wednesday morning. Strong winds will
  begin to diminish late Wednesday afternoon.

* Visibility: Areas of blowing snow are also expected where there
  is transportable snow, particularly through Wednesday morning.
  Visibility could be reduced below one mile at times...and some
  roadways could become snow covered.

* Impacts: Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile
  vehicles.

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph, or gusts
of 58 mph or more, can lead to property damage.

5 PM MST this afternoon. the High Wind Watch is no longer in
effect.

* Winds: West 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

* Timing: Winds will increase early Wednesday morning with a
  period of strong wind gusts likely late Wednesday morning
  through the afternoon. 

* Visibility: Areas of blowing snow are also expected where 
  there is transportable snow. Visibility could be reduced below

  diminishing this evening. 

* Impacts: Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile
  vehicles. Isolated tree and power line damage may occur, leading
  to power outages. Some drifting and blowing snow may occur,
  creating slick, snow-covered roads.
