* Locations...Choteau, Browning, Logan Pass, Marias Pass, and 
  Cut Bank.

* Timing...Strong and gusty winds will develop along the Rocky
  Mountain Front and over the adjacent plains late tonight and
  increase Thursday afternoon. Strong winds combined with abundant
  transportable snow will cause widespread blowing and drifting
  snow and cause localized white-out conditions. Temperatures are
  expected to rise well above freezing by Thursday afternoon,
  reducing the intensity of blowing snow. A Winter Weather Advisory
  for blowing and drifting snow continues after blizzard 
  conditions subside, through late Friday evening. Snowmelt and 
  possible crusting of the snow could cause blowing and drifting 
  to end early.

* Snow Accumulations...10 to 21 inches over the mountains along 
  and near the Continental Divide. 6 to 12 inches of snow at 
  mountain pass level. Little if any new snow accumulation 
  expected on the plains.

* Winds...Southwest 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 70 mph.

* Impacts...Widespread blowing snow will reduce visibilities to 
  near zero at times. Severe drifting snow is likely to cause 
  multiple road closures and may bury structures.

...BLIZZARD WARNING IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has cancelled the
Blizzard Warning. Warm temperatures and rain have transformed 
the top layer of snow pack into a wet and heavy crust. Partner 
reports and camera observations indicate that snow has resisted 
drifting and blowing even at wind speeds up to 77 mph. Downslope 
Chinook winds will maintain mild temperatures over the area. There
is no further evidence to support the potential for blizzard 
conditions in populated areas despite continued high winds. 
Blizzard conditions remain possible in remote backcountry areas at
higher elevations. A high wind warning has been issued in place 
of this cancelled blizzard warning.
