The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Lafayette County in Big Bend of Florida...
  East central Taylor County in Big Bend of Florida...

* Until 1045 AM EDT

* At 841 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates that between 8 
  and 12 inches of rain has fallen across the area and an additional 
  1 to 3 inches is possible over the next few hours. Flooding has 
  been reported, especially in and around Mayo where 3 to 4 homes 
  have water in them. Also, some roads have been washed out and 
  flooding was reported on portions of Highway 51 north. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Mayo, Pinland, Cooks Hammock, Carbur, Alton, Fletcher Springs,
  Adams Beach, Dekle Beach, Jack Lee Island, Keaton Beach, Hatch
  Bend, Salem, Blue Springs, Athena, San Pedro Junction, Grady and
  Jug Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
