The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a Wind Advisory...which is in effect from 10 AM to 10 PM MDT Friday. * AFFECTED AREA...West central and Southwest Utah * WINDS...increasing to 30 to 40 mph with peak gusts in the 50 to 55 mph range. * TIMING...Winds will increase in strength tonight into early tomorrow morning, but will become strong late Friday morning through Friday evening. Peak winds are expected Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Strong cross winds will impact travel along west-east oriented routes in the area...especially US 6 and Highway 50.
