Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity...which is in
effect from noon today to 10 PM MDT this evening. A Red Flag
Warning remains in effect from noon Thursday through 10 PM MDT
Sunday for wind and low relative humidity as well.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 495 Color Country West 
  Desert...Fire Weather Zone 497 Mojave Desert and Fire Weather 
  Zone 498 Grand Staircase.

* WINDS...Gusting 30-35 mph out of the southwest today, increasing
  to 35-40 mph Thursday, then increasing further to 40-50 mph
  in gusts Friday through the weekend.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Afternoon minimums of 5-7% through Friday, 
  rising to 10-15% for the weekend. Overnight recovery will be 
  poor.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds and low humidities will combine to cause 
  critical fire weather conditions, especially during the 
  afternoon through early evening hours today through Sunday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now...or are imminent. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
