East central San Diego County in southwestern California...
* Until 745 PM PDT
* At 448 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding will likely begin
shortly. Moderate flooding of Fish Creek will likely occur due to
the heavy rains. Motorists and hikers within and downstream of Fish
Creek should seek higher ground immediately.
* Some locations that will likely experience flooding include...
Hwy S2 Between Agua Caliente And Canebrake, Ocotillo Wells, Fish
Creek Wash, Hwy S2 Between Shelter Valley And Agua Caliente, Agua

EAST CENTRAL SAN DIEGO COUNTY...
At 508 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing very
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding will likely begin shortly. Major
flooding of Fish Creek will likely occur due to the heavy rains.
Persons near, within and well downstream of the creek should seek
higher ground immediately. This is a serious situation, with
significant flooding possible several miles downstream.

At 554 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy thunderstorms were
diminishing over the warned area. However flash flooding is likely
ongoing in the Fish Creek Wash. Up to 3 inches of rain have already
fallen. The flash flood risk is still very high in the Fish Creek
Wash area!
