...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 6 PM CST THIS
EVENING FOR HIGH WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 
066, 073, AND 097...

The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 6 PM CST this 
evening. 

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 073 and 097. Fire weather 
  zone 066. 

* WIND...Southerly winds will gust in excess of 40 MPH at times.

* HUMIDITY...Humidity is expected to drop below 25 percent this
  afternoon as a dry line surges into the affected area.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
