* At 525 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across portions of west central Missouri. Up to two
inches of rain has already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly over areas of St. Clair, Benton, and Vernon counties
as another one to three inches of rain falls within the next few
hours.
* Creeks, streams, and low water crossings will be especially
susceptible to the dangers of flash flooding.
