White R at R St. affecting King and Pierce Counties. .Flood Bulletin No. 7 Heavier rainfall combined with a little extra snow melt has increased the runoff in the White River Basin more than previously forecast. The stream flow will be enough to drive the lower White River above flood stage. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... The Skokomish river is receding and no longer poses a flood threat.
The White river will remain just below flood flow most of the day
before begining to fall this evening. Planned reservoir regulation
upstream will cause periodic fluctuations in the river level but it
is expected to stay below flood flow.
