* At 941 PM EDT, emergency management officials reported
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area.
Flooding has been reported in Williamstown along North Dry Run
Road and North Oak Grove Road. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Parkersburg, Marietta, Belpre, St. Marys, Vienna, Williamstown,
Belmont, Boaz, Newport, North Hills, Willow Island, Maxwell,
Schultz, Waverly, Fleming, Bartlett and Nutter Farm.
Additional rainfall amounts of half an inch to an inch are possible
in the warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

At 1039 PM EDT, moderate to heavy rain is continuing to occur across
parts of the Mid Ohio Valley. Up to two inches of rain have already
fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Parkersburg, Marietta, Belpre, St. Marys, Vienna, Williamstown,
Belmont, Boaz, Newport, North Hills, Willow Island, Maxwell, Schultz,
Waverly, Fleming, Bartlett and Nutter Farm.
Additional rainfall amounts of half and inch to an inch are possible
in the warned area.
Flooding has already been reported in the town of Williamstown, West
Virginia near North Dry Run Road and North Oak Grove Road. In
addition, water has been reported across the roadway along State
Route 7 between mile markers 29 and 30 in Washington county Ohio.
