* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Perry County in southeastern Ohio...

* Until 400 PM EDT

* At 1204 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Additional thunderstorms were 
  moving into Perry County from the west. Up to one inch of rain has 
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  New Lexington, Shawnee, Perry State Forest, Crooksville, Junction
  City, New Straitsville, Corning, Hemlock and Rendville.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 are possible in the warned 
area.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM EDT FOR
PERRY COUNTY...

At 142 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding along 
rush creek near new lexington. Water was reported over state route 
37 and 13. 1 to 2 inches of rain occurred with earlier 
thunderstorms. The heaviest rain has moved east of the area, and 
flood waters will slowly recede early this afternoon. 

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
New Lexington, Shawnee, Perry State Forest, Crooksville, Junction
City, New Straitsville, Corning, Hemlock and Rendville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
