  Southwest 25 to 40 mph with gusts to 65 mph possible Friday 
  afternoon and evening.

* Wave Heights on Pyramid Lake: 2 to 3 feet Thursday and 3 to 5 
  feet Friday.

* Impacts: Strong cross winds may create hazardous travel on area

The National Weather Service in Reno has cancelled the High Wind
Warning. 

Winds have decreased since earlier this evening and the threat of
high winds has ended. Locally gusty winds to 40 mph are still 
possible late this evening and overnight as a cold front moves 
across western Nevada.

The National Weather Service in Reno has cancelled the Wind
Advisory. 

Winds have decreased this evening and no longer meet advisory
levels. As a cold front works across the area late this evening
and overnight, winds will increase again. Wind gusts will 
generally be 35 to 45 mph although brief higher gusts will be
possible in wind prone areas.
