  gusts to 35 kts and higher.

* IMPACTS...Wet antecedent conditions will make the uprooting of
  trees more likely. Motorists operating high profile vehicles
  will need to use caution while driving, particularly over
  bridges and overpasses. Secure any loose items such as patio
  furniture and any small objects that may become projectiles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

...WIND ADVISORY IS CANCELLED FOR THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Raleigh has cancelled the Wind
Advisory for this evening. The wind advisory remains in effect
from 8 AM to 6 PM Friday. 

* TIMING... Friday morning through afternoon. 

* WINDS...From the west to northwest sustained at 15 to 25 mph,
  with frequent gusts to around 35 mph on Friday. 

* IMPACTS...These strong gusty winds will blow around unsecured 
  objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, and a few power 
  outages may result. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A wind advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph or 
wind gusts near 35 to 40 mph or higher are expected. Winds of 
this magnitude are capable of knocking down old or weakened trees 
and can make driving difficult, especially for high profile 
vehicles.
