At 650 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Calhan, or 31
miles northeast of Colorado Springs, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. 

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. 

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
         roofs, and outbuildings. Spotters have also reported a 
         couple of funnel clouds near Calhan.  Remember, severe 
         thunderstorms can produce tornadoes at any time.
