* At 511 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain moving into the warned area. Flash flooding is expected 
  to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Hayden Pass Burn scar, and Coaldale.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow 
moving through the Hayden Creek.  If the storm holds together, then 
all the other drainages on the burn scar will be affected. The 
debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose 
materials.

This includes the following streams and drainages...Little Cottonwood
Creek...South Lake Creek...Arkansas River...Middle Prong Hayden
Creek...Piney Creek...Big Cottonwood Creek...Hayden Pass Creek...

SOUTHWESTERN FREMONT AND NORTHWESTERN CUSTER COUNTIES...

At 519 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain moving into the northern portions of the Hayden Pass Burn 
scar.  Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow 
moving through the Hayden Creek, and Cottonwood creek drainages. If 
the storm holds together as it moves across the burn scar, all 
drainages on the burn scar could be affected to some degree.  The 
debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose 
materials.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hayden Pass burn scar...Coaldale.

This includes the following streams and drainages...Little 
Cottonwood Creek...Butter Creek...Middle Prong Hayden Creek...Piney

moving through the Hayden Creek, Butter Creek...Cottonwood Creek and 
Little Cottonwood Creek drainages where the heaviest rain appears to 
have fallen. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation 
and other loose materials.

At 608 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain have moved off the Hayden Pass burn scar. Pueblo Doppler radar 
estimated around 1/2 inch of rain has fallen on much of the burn 
scar. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow 
moving through the Hayden Creek, Butter Creek, Cottonwood Creek, and 
Little Cottonwood Creek drainages where the heaviest rain appears to 
have fallen. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation 
and other loose materials.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hayden Pass Burn Scar, and Coaldale.

At 647 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding is 
occuring in the area of Dinkle Ditch with high water reported in the 
Cottonwood Creek, Butter Creek and Hayden Creek on the Hayden Pass 
burn scar. County Road 40 has been closed.  

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow 
moving through the Hayden Creek, Cottonwood Creek, Butter Creek and 
Little Cottonwood Creek drainages.  The debris flow can consist of 
rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hayden Pass Burn scar, and Coaldale.

* At 645 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported high flows down the 
  Hayden, Cottonwood and Butter Creek Drainages as well as other 
  drainages in the area.  Dinkle Ditch road also flooded.  The heavy 
  rain has ended over the burn scar but ongoing high flows from 
  earlier heavy rains will continue for a while longer.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  The Hayden Pass burn scar area and down to Coaldale.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow 
moving through the Hayden, Cottonwood and Butter Creek drainages. 
The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose 
materials.
