Northeastern Custer County in southeastern Colorado... West central Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado... * Until 645 PM MDT * At 340 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Junkins Burn Scar, Beulah and Wetmore. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the South Hardscrabble, Hardscrabble and North Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. Additional rainfall amounts of up to an inch are possible in the warned area. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life. Move away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely.
