THE BASEMENT OF THE BUILDING WAS FLOODED. OVER 4000 GALLONS OF WATER PER MINUTE WERE BEING PUMPED FROM THE BUILDING BY THE GLASSBORO FIRE DEPARTMENT.

* Until 415 AM EDT

* At 1016 PM EDT...Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across Salem County. Up to two 
  inches of rain have already fallen. The heavy rain will expand 
  eastward across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to 
  begin shortly in the areas of heaviest rain.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Vineland, Glassboro, Hammonton, Pennsville, Pitman, Clayton,
  Carneys Point, Berlin, Salem, Buena, Woodstown, Alloway, Quinton,
  Chesilhurst, Newfield, Elmer, Franklinville, Sicklerville, Hancocks
  Bridge and Atco.

Additional rainfall amounts of two to four inches are possible in 
the warned area.

NORTHWESTERN ATLANTIC...NORTHWESTERN CUMBERLAND...SALEM...SOUTHERN
CAMDEN AND GLOUCESTER COUNTIES...

At 1238 AM EDT...Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
heavy rain were temporarily ending over the warned area. Over three 
inches of rain had already fallen in parts of this warned area of 
southwest New Jersey. 

Bands of heavy showers and thunderstorms were moving northeast from 
Maryland and should redevelop over this warning area between 130 AM 
and 3 AM.  Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches should occur in 
parts of this warning area between 130 AM and 6 AM.

Vineland, Glassboro, Hammonton, Pennsville, Pitman, Clayton, Carneys
Point, Berlin, Salem, Buena, Woodstown, Alloway, Quinton,

* At 246 AM EDT...Doppler radar indicated a last band of 
  thunderstorms producing very heavy rain moving across the warned 
  area. Widespread one to three inches of rain has already fallen 
  with isolated 4 inch amounts. An additional one half to 1.5 inches 
  will occur by 4 am. Flash flooding is already occurring or will 
  occur by 4 am, even after the rain tends to let up or quit.  

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Vineland, Glassboro, Hammonton, Pennsville, Pitman, Clayton,
  Carneys Point, Berlin, Salem, Buena, Woodstown, Alloway, Quinton,

At 354 AM EDT...Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned 
area was in the process of ending.  However, flooding can still 
expand in coverage as small streams are rising steadily. The Mantua 
Creek at Pitman has risen about 4 feet in 6 hours and may eventually 
flood this morning.

Point, Berlin, Salem, Buena, Woodstown, Alloway, Quinton,
