...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR THE KITTITAS VALLEY UNTIL 10 PM 
THIS EVENING...

.Very windy conditions are expected to continue through the
afternoon before starting to decrease shortly before sundown.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Wind
Advisory...which is in effect until 10 PM PDT this evening.

* WINDS...Northwest 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. The
  strongest winds will be on the north side of the valley and
  along Interstate 90 through the higher terrain east of the
  Kittitas Valley.

* TIMING...Winds will increase through this afternoon then begin
  decreasing around 7 PM.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree 
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
