The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Franklin County in south central Illinois...

* Until 315 AM CDT

* At 1213 AM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding on 
  Highway 14 in Benton due to recent heavy rainfall. The 
  thunderstorms and heavy rain are now focused in the Thompsonville 
  area and should push out of the county by 1 AM. Additional flash 
  flooding will be possible throughout the warning area. If 
  travelling tonight use caution as flood waters may be slow to 
  recede.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  West Frankfort, Benton, West City, Thompsonville, Buckner, Orient,
  Hanaford, Ewing and Freeman Spur.
