Windy conditions will develop in the Cascade gaps late in the afternoon before relative humidities recover above critical thresholds. The winds will affect the Okanogan Valley beginning in the early evening. Winds have tapered off in the Central Cascade Valleys and the Methow Valley while relative humdities have increased. Local gusts are possible this afternoon but should remain below critical levels. Winds in the Okanogan Valley will remain gusty through midday, and then taper off. Humidity levels are above critical thresholds. Expect lighter winds as the humdities drop later today. $$
