WAZ676-031500- /O.NEW.KOTX.FW.W.0003.170703T2100Z-170704T0300Z/ East Washington South Central Cascade Valleys (Zone 676)- 142 PM PDT Sun Jul 2 2017 ...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TO 8 PM PDT MONDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE SOUTH CENTRAL CASCADE VALLEYS... The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity...which is in effect from 2 PM to 8 PM PDT Monday. * Affected Area: Fire Weather Zone 676 East Washington South Central Cascade Valleys, including the Kittitas Valley. * Winds: Northwest 15 TO 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Winds will increase in the afternoon and remain elevated through the early evening hours. * Relative Humidities: 13 to 20 percent. * Impacts: Any ongoing or new fires will likely spread. Outdoor burning is not recommended. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly.
