...Breezy and very dry conditions in the East Bay Hills and the
Diablo Range through this evening...

.Strong high pressure remains over the region and will result in
very dry and very warm to hot conditions this afternoon and
evening. Breezy and locally gusty west to northwest winds will 
combine with the hot and dry conditions resulting in increased 
fire danger across the East Bay Hills and the Diablo Range 
through this evening. Winds are then forecast to diminish late in 
the day.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 511...The East Bay Hills and 
  the Diablo Range. 

* WIND...West to Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 25 mph
  tonight, gradually decreasing late this evening. 

* HUMIDITY...Relative humidity values dropping as low as the upper
  single digits this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now...or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can

then forecast to diminish and humidities improve by Sunday morning.

The National Weather Service in San Francisco has cancelled the
Red Flag Warning. 

Winds have diminished over the region and relative humidity values
have improved in response to a deeper marine push. Thus, the Red
Flag Warning has been cancelled for the East Bay Hills and the
Diablo Range.
