THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MARQUETTE HAS ISSUED A BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT FOR DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON EDT TODAY THROUGH THIS EVENING. * HIGH WAVE ACTION AND DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ALONG THE SHORELINES OF UPPER MICHIGAN. * STRONG RIP CURRENTS: EXPECTED. * STRONG OUTLET CURRENTS: EXPECTED.
