was located over Nelson, or 7 miles east of Alexandria, moving east
at 45 mph.

At 703 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Lake Osakis, or 15 miles east of Alexandria, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely. 

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southern Todd County, including the following locations: Long Prairie
Airport, Round Prairie, Little Sauk and West Union.
