.Runoff from snowmelt and forecast rainfall onto frozen ground will lead to rises on the Chippewa & Eau Claire Rivers. Heavier than forecasted rainfall could cause river levels to rise even higher than predicted. 8 tenths of an inch onto frozen ground and additional rainfall over the 
next few hours will continue to produce rising water levels on the Chippewa
& Eau Claire Rivers. Additional rainfall amounts over portions of West 
Central Wisconsin will generally be less one tenth of an inch. Most of this
