South central Mobile County in southwestern Alabama... * Until 1030 AM CDT * At 732 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen in some locations. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly if not already ongoing. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Midtown Mobile, Downtown Mobile, Tillmans Corner, Theodore, Bayou La Batre, Coden, I10 And I65, Mobile Regional Airport and Alabama Port. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
