Up to four inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wiggins. At 857 AM CDT, emergency management reported that Stapp Street and Denson Road was blocked off due to water over the roadway in Wiggins. Flooding was also reported on parts of South Magnolia Drive and Stump Texas Road. At 905 AM CDT, Doppler radar continued to indicate showers and thunderstorms producing very heavy rain over the warned area. An estimated 5 to 7 inches of rain has already fallen this morning, and additional showers and thunderstorms training over northwestern Stone county will bring additional heavy rainfall and continued flash flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wiggins. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
