Southeastern Santa Rosa County in northwestern Florida...
* Until 615 AM CDT Friday
* At 1209 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

SOUTHEASTERN SANTA ROSA COUNTY...
At 245 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. 3 to 6 inches of rain have fallen since
late Thursday evening. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the
warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

SOUTHEASTERN SANTA ROSA COUNTY...
At 512 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding across
locations in and around the Milton area. While the heavy rain has
ended across the warned area, flooding issues are expected to
continue through at least the next hour. Radar estimates and rain
gage reports indicate that 4 to 8 inches of rain has fallen across
the area since midnight, with some areas receiving over 10 inches of
rain since yesterday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. Turn around, don't drown.
