A River Flood Warning has been issued For...the Saint Johns River
at Astor...
The river level on the Saint Johns River at Astor will continue to
fluctuate around the minor flood stage marker of 2.80 feet through
this weekend. Strong northerly winds have caused a backup of the
river at Astor leading to the slight rise of the river level. Even
with isolated showers in the forecast this weekend, any rainfall
accumulation is not forecast to impact the river level in the near
future.

River Basin today with dry conditions returning for Monday. However,
high rain chances return on Tuesday, with scattered showers in the
forecast from Tuesday through Friday. Accumulations of half an inch
to one inch are forecast over the basin on Tuesday. The river level
at Astor is forecast to remain nearly steady with some only a gradual
decline through early next week.
