  Dane County in south central Wisconsin...

* Until 530 AM CDT

* At 124 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Madison, Sun Prairie, Fitchburg, Middleton, Stoughton, Waunakee,
  Verona, Oregon, McFarland, Monona, Windsor, Edgerton, Marshall,
  Sauk City, Deforest, Cottage Grove, Cross Plains, Deerfield,
  Mazomanie and Shorewood Hills.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM CDT FOR
DANE COUNTY...

At 231 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported eight disabled 
vehicles due to flooding on the west and southwest sides of Madison. 
Over 4 inches of rain was measured in two hours just southwest of 
Madison. Radar estimates 4 to 5 inches fell between Middleton and 
Oregon since midnight.

Madison, Sun Prairie, Fitchburg, Middleton, Stoughton, Waunakee,
Verona, Oregon, McFarland, Monona, Windsor, Edgerton, Marshall, Sauk
City, Deforest, Cottage Grove, Cross Plains, Deerfield, Mazomanie and
Shorewood Hills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

prompted the flash flood warning has diminished.  However around 5 
inches of rain have fallen. Flooding will continue until the water 
recedes.
