NORTHEASTERN JACKSON AND NORTHWESTERN KLAMATH COUNTIES... At 621 PM PDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Rogue Gorge, or 15 miles west of Crater Lake, moving southwest at 10 mph. Pea size hail is possible with this storm. Locations impacted include... Rogue Gorge, Union Creek, Thousand Springs Sno-Park and Natural Bridge Campground. * This includes the following highways... Highway 230 in Oregon between mile markers 1 and 8. Highway 62 in Oregon between mile markers 50 and 67. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
