The National Weather Service in Midland/Odessa has issued a Red
Flag Warning, which is in effect until 7 PM MST this evening. A 
Red Flag Warning has also been issued from 10 AM to 7 PM MST 
Thursday. 

* WIND...Southwest 20 to 30 mph today and west 35 to 55 mph with
  higher gust Thursday. 

* HUMIDITY...8 to 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Here are some things you can do to help prevent wildland fires: 
Observe outdoor burning restrictions for your area. Stow trailer

.Westerly winds have diminished over most of the forecast area,
with the strongest winds lingering over the Guadalupe Mountains.
Since RH/s will rise above 15 percent in all of these areas, the 
Red Flag Warning for today has been allowed to expire. Recovery
tonight will be poor areawide.  Gusty west to northwest winds
will occur Friday and bring very dry air over the region. 
Since wind speeds could reach and exceed 20 mph sustained over
