.As an upper trough approaches winds will increase this afternoon 
especially in favored areas of the Guadalupe Mountains.  Westerly 
winds will then increase moreso Tuesday as the low passes to the 
north of the region.  High winds are expected in the Guadalupe 
Mountains, and may also affect the Eddy County Plains, Van Horn and 
Highway 54 corridor, and the higher elevations of the Davis 
Mountains.
