* At 534 AM CDT/434 AM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated multiple
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to
two to three inches of rain have already fallen across some areas
over the last 24 hours. Flash flooding is expected.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lovington, Tatum, McDonald, Caprock, Buckeye, Knowles, Maljamar,
Crossroads, Gladiola and Tatum Airport.

At 718 AM CDT/618 AM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms
producing heavy rain have moved out of the warned area, however,
areas of moderate to locally heavy rain continue. Up to three inches
of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to be
ongoing across portions of northern Lea county.
