The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Bond County in south central Illinois...
  Fayette County in south central Illinois...
  Montgomery County in south central Illinois...

* Until 115 AM CDT.

* At 808 PM CDT, local law enforcement officials reported
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash 
  flooding is occurring with numerous roads closed across the warned 
  area .

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Vandalia, Greenville, Hillsboro, Nokomis, St. Elmo, Ramsey, Witt,
  Pocahontas, Brownstown, Taylor Springs, Coffeen, Mulberry Grove,
  Schram City, Tamalco, Farina, Sorento, Beaver Creek, Shobonier,
  Woburn and Van Burensburg.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are possible in the warned 
area which may aggrevate ongoing flooding.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Illinois between exits 36 and 76.
 Interstate 57 in Illinois near exit 135.
