heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Chester, Sparta, Red Bud, Bremen, Steeleville, Percy, Coulterville,
Tilden, Evansville, Baldwin, Eden, Preston, Blair, Prairie Du
Rocher, Prairie, Ellis Grove, Ruma, Houston, Rockwood and
Kaskaskia.
Thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall will continue to move across
the warned area through the morning hours.

* Until 545 PM CDT Saturday.
* At 936 AM CDT, local law enforcement officials reported that some
of the secondary roads across the county are flooded and closed.
This flooding is the result of heavy rain across the warned area.
Radar estimates that 2 to 4 inches of rain has fallen across the
southern half of the Randolph County. Additional thunderstorms
with heavy rain are expected later this morning and this afternoon.

* At 539 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain moving into the warned area.
This will aggravate or enhance current flooding and create new
areas of flash flooding that may not have experienced it yet.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Chester, Sparta, Red Bud, Bremen, Steeleville, Percy, Coulterville,
Tilden, Evansville, Baldwin, Eden, Preston, Blair, Prairie Du
Rocher, Prairie, Ellis Grove, Ruma, Houston, Rockwood and
Kaskaskia.
Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area. The additional rainfall heading into this evening and
the rainfall from last night could create a highly dangerous
situation in the warned area over the next several hours!
