* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northeastern Clinton County in south central Illinois...
Marion County in south central Illinois...
Southeastern Fayette County in south central Illinois...
* Until 1115 AM CDT Thursday.
* At 510 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates nearly 3 inches
of rain has fallen since 200 AM. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Salem, Carlyle, Centralia, Sandoval, Central City, Odin, Kinmundy,
Patoka, Farina, Omega, Fairman, Boulder, Stephen Forbes Station,
Shattuc, Tonti, Iuka, Junction City, Keyesport, Alma and Huey.
This includes Interstate 57 in Illinois between exits 116 and 127.
This also includes Carlyle Lake Recreational Area.
