* At 1131 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Highland, Vandalia, Greenville, Kinmundy, Pocahontas, Brownstown,
Mulberry Grove, Farina, Sorento, Shobonier, Woburn, Reno, Pleasant
Mound, La Clede, Pittsburg, Shafter, St. Peter, Panama, Grantfork
and New Douglas.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the

At 413 AM CDT, gauge reports indicated flooding was occurring due to
earlier heavy rainfall, including on the Hurricane Creek at Mulberry
Grove in western Fayette County. Local law enforcement also reported
a few road closures due to flooding overnight.
