The National Weather Service in Elko Nevada has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  East central Eureka County in north central Nevada...

* Until 430 PM PDT

* At 135 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to one inch of rain has 
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly in the 
  Garden Pass area on State Route 278.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Garden Pass and areas around Garden Pass on State Route 278. 

Additional rainfall amounts of one inch are possible in the warned 
area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

EAST CENTRAL EUREKA COUNTY...

At 340 PM PDT, Thunderstorms have dissipated, but light to moderate 
showers remain in the warning area. Up to two inches of rain have 
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to continue.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Garden Pass along State Route 278. 

Additional rainfall amounts of less than one tenth of an inch are 
possible in the warned area.
