The National Weather Service in San Juan has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Camuy Municipality in Puerto Rico...
  Hatillo Municipality in Puerto Rico...

* Until 915 PM AST

* At 620 PM AST, Most of the rain in the Camuy River Basin has 
  dissipated. The river has crested and has fallen to 13.73 feet 
  where the flood stage is 13 feet at Bayaney. It should fall below 
  flood stage there before 7:30 PM AST. Nevertheless, the river will 
  affect downstream locations beyond that time and ponding in areas 
  where the river has receded will continue.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

EXPIRE AT 915 PM AST...

Flood waters have receded below flood stage. Rains have ended and 
flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Some roads remain 
closed according to emergency managers due to ponding and the fact 
that the Camuy River is still quite high. Please continue to heed 
any remaining road closures.
